It’s (NBA All-Star) Saturday night! A mix of basketball’s brightest stars and a few lesser-known names are set to take part in competitions that will put their skill, creativity and the aesthetic craft that defines their games to the test.
First Dame Lillard tied an NBA record by winning a third 3-Point Contest. He also tied the record for most points in a final round and did it all while recovering for an Achilles injury. Then NBA legends Corey Maggette and Allan Houston put on a show as team Knicks won the revitalized Shooting Stars competition. The grand finale is the Slam Dunk contest, featuring a pair of highly touted rookies, Jase Richardson and Carter Bryant. Veteran centre Jaxson Hayes and forward Keshad Johnson round out the field.
