Mike Evans and his future with the Bucs remain up in the air. Both parties would seemingly love to have a reunion as the all-time great Buc would like run things back when he is healthy. Evans has not committed to anything in terms of his future, but those who know him seem to signal he is too much of a competitor in regard to going out with the season as he did in 2025.
During NFL Media's Super Bowl kickoff show, their insiders discussed the future of Mike Evans, and they included a quote from his agent. The quote reads, "Mike started the season in great shape. Most people in the organization said he probably had the best camp of everybody. He finished feeling better than he has in several seasons. I think his competitive nature leads to more football. That is my hope. Like most fans, I love watching him play!!!"

That has to be music to Bucs fans ears, right?
The team will not have Evans for much longer, but one more year to help the likes of Emeka Egbuka and Jalen McMillan is a great thing for their development. They know the young players are the future for the team at the positon, but more exposure to Mike Evans the better.
