Inter Milan wingback Denzel Dumfries has reportedly returned to partial training following a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
According to Sky Sport Italia via FCInterNews, the Dutchman’s highly-awaited return to the pitch is on the horizon.
Denzel Dumfries suffered a nasty ankle injury during Inter’s 2-0 home win over Lazio in early November.
Furthermore, he underwent surgery at the beginning of December.
As a result, he has spent the past couple of months on the sidelines, missing a significant portion of the Serie A campaign.

Though he was initially expected to return to action in March, Dumfries could be at Cristian Chivu’s disposal by the end of February.
Indeed, he reportedly trained partially with the team today.
However, Saturday’s mouth-watering Derby d’Italia clash against Juventus will come too soon for the 29-year-old.
In the meantime, Brazilian winger Luis Henrique will continue to deputize for the former PSG Eindhoven star.
