Former NFL great Terron Armstead is open to training with New England Patriots left tackle Will Campbell this offseason.
Armstead played 12 seasons in the NFL for the New Orleans Saints, as well as the Miami Dolphins. He was named Second-Team All-Pro at left tackle in 2018. Retired NFL players, including former All-Pro right tackle Willie Anderson, have suggested that Campbell model his game after Armstead’s, after the former allowed 14 pressures to Patriots quarterback Drake Maye in Super Bowl LX.
NFL Network's Cameron Wolfe reported on "The Insiders" that Armstead invited Campbell to work with him this summer in Dallas.
"Terron Armstead, who was a Pro Bowl left tackle for many, many years, gave me this review. He said, 'It has nothing to do with his arm length. It was his set. He's having issues with power, his timing with the punches,'" said Wolfe. "He actually volunteered to have Will Campbell work out with him, Terron Armstead did, in Dallas this summer."

Campbell has garnered widespread criticism for allowing the left side of the pocket to collapse in the Super Bowl throughout the game. Patriots coach Mike Vrabel and quarterback Drake Maye, as well as other teammates of Campbell’s, came to the rookie left tackle’s defense in response.
Campbell acknowledged his room to grow as a player when in front of the media on Tuesday. Armstead’s offer allows Campbell to work with the former NFL veteran to further those efforts.
