Myles Garrett swapped NFL celebrations for Olympic snow as he travelled to Italy to support Chloe Kim at the Winter Games.

The Cleveland Browns star was in the stands for Kim’s halfpipe qualifying run as she chased more history in Milan-Cortina.
Myles Garrett heads to Italy days after winning Defensive Player of the Year
Myles Garrett travelled to Livigno shortly after being named the NFL Defensive Player of the Year for the second time, following a season in which he recorded 23 sacks and set a single-season record.
Rather than extending his own celebrations, he flew to Italy to watch Chloe Kim compete in the women’s snowboard halfpipe at the 2026 Winter Olympics.
Garrett stood along the side of the halfpipe with a camera to capture her full run and later confirmed, “I got her whole run.”
As Kim advanced to the final with a dominant display, Garrett made his belief clear. “She’s going to do it. She’s the best.”

Kim entered the 2026 Games aiming to become the first snowboarder to win three consecutive Olympic gold medals in the halfpipe.
The 25-year-old posted a 90.25 in qualifying and was the only competitor to score above 90 as she secured top spot heading into the final.
Her performance came despite competing with a torn labrum sustained before the Games. After her run, Kim reflected on her mindset heading into the competition.
“I’m honestly really happy with who I’ve become, and I feel like going into these Games, I just felt really at ease, calm. And I know what I’m here to do.”
With Garrett’s NFL campaign complete and Kim one run away from potential history, their week in Italy has highlighted a rare crossover moment between two athletes competing at the highest level of their sports.
