Bayern Munich star Harry Kane has not wasted any time to settle in at his new home in Munich since joining from Tottenham Hotspur in 2023. He might have already scored more than 100 goals for Bayern, but something that he keeps finding difficult is learning the language.

In a recent interview, the English captain spoke honestly about trying to learn the German language and adapt to life in Munich (as captured by @iMiaSanMia). “It’s very hard, to be honest,” Kane admitted. “But I’m trying to keep having two lessons a week. I’m at a point where I’m starting to understand more and more when the guys talk in the dressing room.”

For Kane, it is important to be able to express himself in the language, that is why he is working hard on his lessons. “I hope that by the end of the season I’ll be able to have a short conversation or even give my first interview in German. I’m putting a bit of pressure on myself now,” he affirmed. When asked about his favorite German word, he said simply: “Tor!”

If Kane gives the same dedication and commitment that has characterized him on the pitch, it would not be a surprise seeing him conducting interviews in German really soon.
