Boiler Alert Podcast: The Good and Bad From Lincoln

Well that was a strange game wasn’t it? Purdue travels to Lincoln, Nebraska and jumps out to an early 14-1 lead eventually stretching it to 22 points before it all fell down. Ryan and I cover what went wrong, and what went right in this game against the Cornhuskers.

First though, we take a look around the Big Ten and ask, is there hope again that Purdue can win the Big Ten championship? This week I’m more optimistic than Ryan and I lay out my reasons and thinking for why. But, even if Purdue doesn’t win the Big Ten they’ve got a lot to play for seeding wise and this win against Nebraska was a huge step in increasing their seeding.

We break down what went wrong in the second half, turnovers, early shots, and free throws are all discussed. Then we get into the conspiracies suddenly cropping up on Nebrasketball twitter about Purdue sabotaging the court and making Nebraska slip.

Finally, I argue that we need to bring back Pros vs. Joes. Some Joes need to be humbled.
