Thanks to salary shed at trade deadline, they also have enough money to sign Sochan to a vet min deal. Knicks & Spurs talked Sochan-Yabusele deal prior to deadline but they did not much traction. Knicks wouldn’t have been able to sign Sochan now if they hadn’t shed salary at the trade deadline. ESPN first reported Sochan signing.
