Anthony Kim has joined Dustin Johnson’s 4 Aces on LIV Golf, following Patrick Reed’s decision to leave two weeks ago.

Bryson DeChambeau spoke highly of Kim’s mental strength, especially after everything he has gone through away from golf over the past decade.

This week at the LIV Golf event in Australia, Johnson also had plenty of good things to say about Kim.

He is now starting to show signs that he could return to the levels he displayed back from 2008 to 2010. So what exactly did Dustin Johnson say about Anthony Kim this week?

In his 17-year professional career, Dustin Johnson has seen plenty of change, and his consistency on the course means he understands what it takes to reach the top of the sport.

Speaking in Adelaide, where the next leg of LIV Golf’s season is underway, Johnson gave a positive update on Kim’s progress. He was also asked what drew him to bring Kim onto his 4 Aces roster.

The timing worked out well, and I know he’s been putting in a lot of work. I’ve watched his game improve over the past few years, so we’re happy to bring him in,” Johnson said.

He’s really committed to getting back to that level and is working every day toward it. Even though it hasn’t all come together yet, you can see how much time and effort he’s putting into it,” he added.

If Kim keeps heading in this direction, as Johnson expects, it’ll be good news for LIV Golf fans everywhere.

Dustin Johnson, one of the most experienced players on the circuit, knows what it takes to get to the top of the sport.

Speaking in Adelaide on Thursday, he shared his thoughts on Kim’s recent form and explained why he added him to his team.

“We had a spot open and [Kim] had a nice week last week,” Johnson said. “I know he’s been working really hard on his game. I’ve seen the progression over the last couple years, so we’re excited to have him. I know he’s excited to be a part of the team.”

“He’s only going to keep getting better,” Johnson added. “Obviously had a really nice round today too. It was a really nice signing this morning.”

That kind of belief from someone like Johnson carries weight. And if Kim can keep trending upwards, it would be a big positive for LIV Golf as well as an already intriguing storyline.
