Las Vegas Raiders defensive coordinator search: Aubrey Pleasant will interview

New Las Vegas Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak is continuing to interview for his defensive coordinator job as he is taking to Aubrey Pleasant according to NFL Media. The Raiders have also0 reportedly interviewed their defensive line coach Rob Leonard for the job.

Let’s get to know Pleasant some more:

Current job:

He is the assistant head coach and defensive passing-game coordinator of the Los Angeles Rams. He’s been with the Rams for the past three seasons.

Age:

He is 38.

Coaching experience:

He has 13 years of NFL coaching experience.

Other interest:

He interviewed for the Arizona Cardinals’ defensive coordinator job, but did not get it.

Why the Raiders are interested:

Kubiak and Pleasant went toe-to-toe as NFC West rivals as Kubiak was the Seattle Seahawks’ offensive coordinator in 2025. So, they battled directly against each other in three games last season. Kubiak was clearly impressed by Pleasant.
