How To Watch The Daytona 500 This Weekend

Image: NASCAR

It used to be that the only thing you needed to watch the Daytona 500 was a TV and a cooler of cheap beer.

The 68th running of the "Great American Race" goes green this Sunday, February 15, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. ET, kicking off the NASCAR Cup Series season with 500 miles of restrictor-plate chaos at the World Center of Racing. The race will be broadcast with Mike Joy, Clint Bowyer, and Kevin Harvick in the booth.

If you are looking to watch the drama unfold, the television landscape has shifted. The main event on Sunday will air on Fox, but for the cord-cutters who have ditched traditional cable, the network has finally rolled out a direct-to-consumer solution.

"Fox One" launched in 2025, offering a standalone streaming option for $19.99 a month. It includes the local Fox feed along with FS1. If you are just here for the 500, the service offers a seven-day free trial, which is the most cost-effective way to see if William Byron can land a third consecutive Harley J. Earl trophy.

The Field Is Set

The field will be chasing Kyle Busch, who finally secured his first Daytona 500 pole position on Wednesday night. This marks Busch's twenty-first attempt at the race, and he enters the weekend looking to break the longest active losing streak in the garage. He shares the front row with Chase Briscoe.

This year marks a quarter-century since the sport lost Dale Earnhardt in the final corner of this race in 2001.
