Welcome to BTSC’s Friday night open thread:

  1. We’re officially in the NFL offseason. Do you have a favorite part of this time of year? (Free agency, draft, training camp, etc.)
  2. Last weekend, we watched the two most successful teams this season compete in the Super Bowl. Do you have any takeaways from the game/each team’s run regarding what it takes to build a contender in the modern NFL?
  3. The Steelers finalized their 2026 coaching staff on Thursday. There are a lot of new faces. Who’s your early pick for the Matt Canada/Pat Meyer figure everyone will be mad at by midseason? Who’s your pick for the Mike Munchak figure everyone will be a fan of?
  4. Pick one option for 2026: Aaron Rodgers on a one-year, $20-ish million deal, Malik Willis on a two-year, $50 million deal, or Ty Simpson with the No. 21 overall pick.
  5. It’s Valentine’s Day weekend. Tell us how you fell in love with the Steelers.
  6. The Winter Olympics are going on right now, and I’ve become a lot more invested than I expected I’d be. Curling and downhill skiing have been some of my favorites to watch. Have you been watching the Olympics much this year?

Bonus: My song rec for the night.
