Marcus Rashford looks set to miss Monday’s trip to Girona with Barcelona as he continues to battle a knee injury.

The England international sat out the midweek defeat to Atletico and is still not back in training with Hansi Flick’s side, according to Mundo Deportivo.

Barca had been hoping that Rashford would be back against Girona, but the fact he was not training on Saturday suggests he will be forced to miss another game for Barcelona.

Flick should be able to welcome back Raphinha, however, with the forward having returned to training after missing the last three games.

The Barcelona boss will be hoping to see a response from his players against Girona after the midweek disappointment against Atletico Madrid.

Barcelona still remain in good shape in the title race in Spain but will be knocked off top spot later today if Real Madrid beat Real Sociedad at the Santiago Bernabeu.
