Daniel Maldini will once again start as a false nine for Lazio against Giacomo Raspadori’s Atalanta.

It kicks off at 18:00 CET (17:00 GMT) at the Stadio Olimpico today. The stadium will be practically empty as Lazio fans will continue to protest President Claudio Lotito.

Alessio Romagnoli is suspended for the home side, while Samuel Gigot, Mattia Zaccagni, Manuel Lazzari, Toma Basic and Pedro are injured.

Charles De Ketelaere is the only unavailable player for Atalanta, who will visit Borussia Dortmund next week in the first leg of the Champions League knockout play-off.

Nuno Tavares and Luca Pellegrini compete for a starting spot as left-back for Lazio, while Danilo Cataldi is favourite over Nicolò Rovella, as reported by Sky Sport Italia.

Atalanta coach Raffaele Palladino is expected to rotate his squad ahead of next week’s Champions League commitment, starting Lazar Samardzic and Nikola Krstovic in attack, alongside Raspadori.
