Abel Antón's Final Marathon in Berlin 2027

Double world marathon champion Abel Antón announced this Friday that he will run his final marathon in Berlin in 2027 alongside the Aural Team. The announcement was made during the 60th anniversary congress of Aural Hearing Centers in Valencia.

The Spanish runner chose Berlin for his farewell race as it holds special significance, having won there in 1996 with a time of 2:09:15. Antón, who was world champion in 1997 and 1999, will conclude his marathon career at the German capital. afnews.co.za
