Shoaib Akhtar walked back his scathing remarks about PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi, claiming his words were meant for cricket administration in general rather than Naqvi personally. The former pacer had criticized Naqvi's suitability for the PCB chairman role on an Indian news channel.
Akhtar expressed frustration with Naqvi's U-turn on the boycott stance against India in the T20 World Cup, stating he was angry that the PCB chief didn't stick with his stand. 'He could have asked me about taking the U-turn,' Akhtar said while acknowledging Naqvi's desire to help Pakistan cricket.
