Kimi Antonelli overtook Lewis Hamilton on lap 8 to secure his maiden Formula 1 sprint race victory at Silverstone.

Antonelli, driving for Mercedes, made the decisive move on the 19-year-old driver after Hamilton had led from the start. The win comes as Hamilton has shown improved form in his Ferrari this season, with the 41-year-old veteran currently third in the championship standings.
