Arizona Women's Basketball Falls to Colorado

Arizona women's basketball suffered a heartbreaking 78-70 loss to Colorado in a game marked by a late fourth-quarter collapse at McKale Center on February 17.

Despite forcing 25 turnovers and Noelani Cornfield's six steals, the Wildcats couldn't hold on as Colorado capitalized on Arizona's miscues in the final quarter. Sumayah Sugapong led Arizona with strong scoring from behind the arc throughout the game.

Head coach Becky Burke acknowledged the team's inability to close out the game, noting 'we were in a position to win it, and then we did a couple silly things where we gave them some hope' following the defeat.
