Bangladesh Cricket Board faces crisis as four directors resign

The Bangladesh Cricket Board is in turmoil with seven directors resigning just six months into the term. President Aminul Islam remains defiant, vowing to stay in his post despite the resignations and a government investigation.

Four directors, including Saniyan Taneem, Mehrab Alam, Faiazur Rahman, and Manjurul Alam, resigned on April 4, heightening uncertainty about the administration's stability. Aminul Islam told Jamuna TV he would be "the last person to go," claiming his team is dedicated and honest.

He stated he could not appear before the investigation committee due to scheduling clashes but submitted a written response, denying involvement in the election malpractice allegations.
