Barça Faces Alicante After Veszprem Defeat

FC Barcelona handball team receives Alicante BM this Saturday at 17:30 (ASOBAL TV and MD web) in the 4th round of the ASOBAL League. The match comes barely two days after the Catalan team suffered one of the biggest defeats in their history, losing 33-42 to One Veszprem in the World Club Championship final in Egypt.

Barça coach Xavi Pascual has described the Egyptian defeat as 'an accident,' noting it was the team's first loss after more than a year and 65 consecutive victories. Despite the heavy defeat, Barcelona remains focused on their domestic league commitments as they look to bounce back against Alicante BM. newsbetting.bond
