The Chicago Bears have signed defensive back Marlen Sewell and placed defensive lineman Jonathan Garvin on injured reserve.

The Chicago Bears announced roster moves on Tuesday, signing defensive back Marlen Sewell and placing defensive lineman Jonathan Garvin on injured reserve. Sewell, an undrafted free agent from Vanderbilt, had 52 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, a half-sack and two passes defensed for the Commodores last season. He previously signed with the Chiefs after the draft but was released in June.

Garvin, who played in 38 games for the Packers between 2020 and 2022, has not appeared in a game over the last three seasons. rocore.sbs
