The Beavers maintained their perfect start to the season with dominant performances against conference opponents. On Friday, they swept five of six singles matches against Minnesota Duluth, with their only losses coming in No. 3 doubles and No. 4 singles.
Against St. Cloud State on Saturday, the team showed resilience as Paula Garcia Acebal and Ana Lucía Ibáñez Castro both came back from first-set defeats to secure their matches in three sets. Bemidji State (6-0) will look to continue their historic run when they face Augustana, Sioux Falls, and the University of North Dakota on the road Feb. 21-22.
