Bengals Release QB Josh Johnson

The Cincinnati Bengals are releasing quarterback Josh Johnson as part of their roster cutdown to 53 players on Sunday.

Johnson served as the third-string quarterback behind Joe Burrow and Joe Flacco this preseason, with Sean Clifford also competing for a roster spot.

The veteran QB played in five games and made two starts for the Commanders in 2025. Johnson has played for six NFL teams total and spent time with 14 different organizations since entering the league in 2008 as a fifth-round pick of the Buccaneers. cricket-info.homes
