Bournemouth has secured Portuguese defender Antonio Silva from Benfica for £26 million to replace Senesi.

Bournemouth has completed the signing of 22-year-old Portuguese defender Antonio Silva from Benfica for approximately £26 million. Silva replaces Argentine defender Marcos Senesi, who joined Tottenham after his contract expired.

The 22-year-old has made 235 appearances for Benfica and earned 20 caps for Portugal. Bournemouth will make their European debut next season, starting with a match against Manchester City on August 23. wlop.pl
