Broad Street Run Returns with 40,000 Runners

The nation's largest 10-mile race returns to Philadelphia on Sunday as 40,000 runners prepare for the 47th annual Independence Blue Cross Broad Street Run.

The race begins at 7 a.m., with course stretching from Central High School Athletic Field to the Navy Yard. Road closures will start at 2 a.m., with no parking allowed on Broad Street from Olney Avenue to the Navy Yard between 2 a.m. and noon. The course is expected to reopen by noon. playerbros.org
