Bucs Sign Rookie WR Matthew Henry

The Buccaneers signed rookie wide receiver Matthew Henry on Tuesday, placing defensive lineman Deshawn McKnight on injured reserve in a corresponding move.

Henry, who went undrafted in April, finished his collegiate career at Western Kentucky where he caught 55 passes for 888 yards and six touchdowns in 2025, earning All-Conference USA second team honors. He previously played at Western Illinois and Livingstone College. milkshake.it.com

The Bucs needed depth at wide receiver as Emeka Egbuka, Jalen McMillan, and Tez Johnson have all missed practice time this week. McKnight injured a hamstring during Saturday's preseason win over the Chiefs.
