Cousins' Seven-Game Win Streak Continues

Kirk Cousins continues his role as the Raiders' bridge quarterback, holding down the starting position until No. 1 overall pick Fernando Mendoza is ready. The 7-game winning streak is the longest in the NFL, and Cousins could become the first quarterback since the 1970 merger to win four consecutive games for two different teams within the same streak.

The veteran quarterback has thrown nine touchdown passes and three interceptions with a passer rating of 107.2, ranking eighth in the league. Despite the hot start, Raiders coach Klint Kubiak emphasizes the team is focused only on the next game, with Mendoza ready to step in when called upon. playerbros.org
