Daniels Out, Mariota Starts Again for Commanders

Despite practicing with a brace on his dislocated left elbow, Jayden Daniels will not return to the Commanders lineup this week. Head coach Dan Quinn confirmed the decision during Friday's press conference, clearing the way for Marcus Mariota to start against the Colts in London. amunra.qpon

It's Mariota's second consecutive start after helping the Commanders beat the Seahawks 33-31 in Week 3, completing 19-of-31 passes for 183 yards and three touchdowns. While Daniels remains sidelined, Quinn expressed optimism that a return to full practice next week could pave the way for his availability against the Giants in Week 5. The Commanders will welcome back linebacker Frankie Luvu and tight end Chig Okonkwo, who missed the last two games, for Sunday's matchup against Indianapolis.
