FC Thun secured the Swiss Challenge League title in dramatic fashion on Sunday, returning to the top flight after a five-year absence.

After being promoted from the third tier just a year ago, the club celebrated their success without playing on Sunday. Thun needed Sion to beat St. Gallen, and the 3-0 victory confirmed the championship.
