Inoue vs. Rodriguez Targeted for Jan 2027 Mega Fight

Japanese champion Naoya Inoue and Mexican‑American prospect Jesse "Bam" Rodriguez are being lined up for a January 2027 fight in Japan, said by boxing powerbroker Turki Alalshikh.

After defeating Junto Nakatani in May, Inoue retains all four major super‑bantamweight titles. The upcoming bout would see him defend against Rodriguez, who will move up to 118 lbs for the match. The fight is planned for a stadium setting during Riyadh Season, with a special Ring belt expected.
