Italy Wears Special Red Kit for France Clash

Italy will debut special red jerseys against France in their Six Nations clash, paying tribute to Giuseppe Garibaldi and his legendary redshirts.

The Azzurri will sport a special "Garibaldi Red" kit in their match against France, departing from their traditional white change strips. The jersey commemorates the 19th-century general who played a key role in Italy's unification, with his volunteer soldiers known as "redshirts."

Both Italy's men's and women's teams will wear the special jerseys during their Six Nations campaigns. The kits were unveiled at Quarto dei Mille, where Garibaldi launched the "Expedition of the Thousand" in 1860, and represent values of heroism and indomitable spirit.
