Itauma Stops Franklin in Fifth, Eyes Usyk

Moses Itauma knocked out Jermaine Franklin in the fifth round at Manchester's Co‑op Live Arena, marking his 12th stoppage in 14 fights.

Itauma, 21, used speed and power to dismantle Franklin, who had survived 27 bouts before. The Briton landed a decisive uppercut in round five to end the fight.

With an 86% knockout rate, the Chatham prodigy now sits in world‑title rankings and has expressed interest in facing Oleksandr Usyk. He is scheduled to fight again in July.
