Jaguars Release QB Mullens After Ewers Trade

The Jacksonville Jaguars have released quarterback Nick Mullens in the aftermath of the Quinn Ewers trade, according to NFL Network.

Mullens, 31, joined the Jaguars in March 2025 on a two-year deal and appeared in five games for the team last season, completing three passes for 19 yards. Prior to Jacksonville, he spent three seasons with the Vikings, starting three games in 2023.

The undrafted free agent from 2017 has appeared in 38 career games with 20 starts across San Francisco, Cleveland, Minnesota, and Jacksonville. With Mullens' release, the Jaguars' quarterback room now consists of Quinn Ewers, starter Trevor Lawrence, Carter Bradley, and rookie Joey Aguilar as teams must reduce their rosters to 53 players by 6 p.m. ET on Sunday. umafrika.club
