Jockey Club Quits Racecourse Association, Joining Ascot

The Jockey Club, owner of 15 courses including Cheltenham and Aintree, will leave the Racecourse Association at year-end, following Ascot's exit.

The Jockey Club, which operates 15 British racecourses including Cheltenham, Aintree, Epsom, and Newmarket, announced it will resign from the Racecourse Association (RCA) at the end of the year. newssport.cv

This decision, made public on Monday, follows the RCA's recent governance review and comes two days after the body revealed the results of its efforts to prevent further departures following Ascot's resignation in May.
