Lendeborg Overcomes Injury to Spark Michigan Win

Yaxel Lendeborg limped out of the first half due to a left‑knee injury and ankle pain, but returned in the second half to hit two 3‑pointers and help Michigan defeat Arizona 91‑73.

After a left‑knee sprain and a nagging ankle, Lendeborg left the court in tears on the first half. He returned with a trainer, walked on tip‑toes and cut the court in the second half, proving he was still the toughest player in the country.

He finished with two deep 3‑pointers, two rebounds and 11 points in just nine minutes, helping Michigan secure a 91‑73 victory over Arizona and cementing his status as the Big Ten player of the year.
