Lionel Messi has been fined for slapping Philadelphia Union's Quinn Sullivan during an MLS match between Inter Miami and Philadelphia Union.

The 39-year-old Inter Miami forward lashed out at the Philadelphia Union midfielder during their match on Wednesday, catching Sullivan around the back of the head. The incident occurred after Sullivan elbowed Messi following a play.
