Mizzou Softball Sweeps Auburn 6-4 in SEC Showdown

The Missouri Tigers softball team completed a 6-4 victory over Auburn, securing their first SEC sweep of the season.

The Tigers took an early lead, but Auburn tied and then took a 3-2 advantage after a two‑run single by Ava Ratliff. Mizzou’s pitching, led by CeCe Harrison, held Auburn to four runs, with Harrison striking out two after a walk. The Tigers regained the lead in the third inning and never looked back, finishing 6-4.

The win marks the Tigers’ first SEC sweep of the season and brings their record to 12-2 in the last 14 games. Coach Larissa Anderson praised the team’s resilience and the pitching staff’s ability to shut down Auburn’s offense.
