Nelson Attacks Solo at Tour de France Femmes

Josie Nelson (Picnic-PostNL) launched a solo attack approaching the first climb of the hilly 153.4km sixth stage at Tour de France Femmes.

Josie Nelson (Picnic-PostNL) from Lichfield in Staffordshire made a bold move by attacking solo as the peloton approached the first climb of stage six. However, the British rider was caught at 138km to go, with two of her teammates - Eleonora Ciabocco and Lene Robyn Clay - also dropping from the pack. Fellow Picnic-PostNL rider Mia Griffin was also unable to maintain pace on the challenging terrain.

The 153.4km hilly stage from Montbrison to Tournon-sur-Rhône continues to test the riders as they navigate through the French countryside. forumteam.blog
