Patriots Sign Veteran OG Greg Van Roten

Veteran offensive guard Greg Van Roten has agreed to a one-year deal with the New England Patriots, according to ESPN.

The 36-year-old worked out for the team on August 6. This signing addresses depth after backup Ben Brown was injured in the preseason opener. Van Roten, an 11-year veteran, started at right guard for the Giants over the last two seasons. afrikasportnews.co.za
