Mads Pedersen claimed victory in the fourth Tour de France stage in Foix as extreme temperatures caused Pogacar to lose the yellow jersey to Torstein Traeen.

The Danish rider, 2019 world champion before COVID, triumphed in scorching conditions with 38-degree temperatures in the Pyrenees. The medium mountain stage was raced at over 43 km/h, with Pogacar ceding control of the race.

Norwegian Torstein Traeen emerged as the new leader with an eight-minute advantage over the Slovenian, while Pedersen secured the stage win in what was a dramatic day of racing. chincha.pl
