Penn State Alumni in UFL 2026 Roster

The UFL, a merger of the USFL and XFL, has reshaped its structure for 2026, dropping some franchises and adding new markets. This shift has moved several former Penn State players to new teams, giving them a platform to stay in shape and chase NFL opportunities.

Among the Nittany Lions now in the league are running back John Lovett, who is entering his third UFL season after stints with the San Antonio Brahmas; linebacker Curtis Jacobs, making his UFL debut after time on NFL practice squads; and linebacker Brandon Smith, who joined the DC Defenders after a brief NFL career.
