According to his attorney Levi McCathern, the 24-year-old receiver's stay at the Malibu facility aims to "improve his overall behavior in every aspect of his life." While a March lawsuit accusing Nacua of biting a woman and making an antisemitic comment was a "contributing factor," Nacua entered rehab before the allegations surfaced.
Nacua has denied the allegations "in the strongest terms" and plans to complete the program in time for Rams OTAs. The city attorney's office is reviewing whether to file criminal charges related to the incident.
