Robins: Injury crisis 'unprecedented' for Stoke boss

Stoke City manager Mark Robins has described the club's current situation as "unprecedented" following a disastrous run of form and a crisis affecting double figures of players.

Stoke have slipped to 14th in the Championship after winning just three of their last 15 games. Robins confirmed that injuries to the likes of Bosun Lawal and illness have decimated the squad, leaving him with no experience of such a challenge.

Despite the difficulties, Robins remains positive ahead of Sunday's FA Cup fourth-round tie against Premier League side Fulham. He believes the game offers a rare opportunity to test themselves against top-flight opposition.
