Rockies Sign Veteran Catcher Andrew Knizner

The Colorado Rockies have signed veteran catcher Andrew Knizner to a minor league contract to bolster their depth behind Hunter Goodman.

Knizner, who owns a career .596 OPS and has played for the Cardinals, Rangers, and Giants, joins the team after being released by the Mariners this spring.

The 31-year-old provides valuable experience and defensive skills, serving as an insurance option for the NL West club as they head into the 2026 season.
