Rogers County Track Stars Headed to State

In Class 4A, Inola's Caleb Sims enters as the No. 1 seed in the discus after a school-record throw of 160 feet and 2 inches, making him the clear favorite for gold. Oologah's Kamryn Crenshaw is also seeded first in the girls 400 meters with a school-record time of 1:00.02, while Inola's Larkin Sears will contend as the No. 2 seed in the high jump (5-02) and No. 8 in pole vault (9-0).

Class 3A features Sequoyah's Sophia Fernandez as the No. 3 seed in the 400 meters (1:00.76), with additional qualifiers including the 4x800 relay team (No. 9 seed), Paisley Crittenden in the 300 hurdles (50.27), Emmyn Gibson in the 3200, and Piper Mullins in the discus. Other qualifiers from Rogers County include Verdigris' Jake Patterson in both hurdle events, and various relay teams from Inola and Oologah. djcc.club
