Rondale Moore, 25, was found dead in a garage in New Albany, Indiana, on Feb. 21. The Floyd County coroner says the death is under investigation, with police suspecting a self‑inflicted gunshot wound; an autopsy is scheduled for Sunday.
Moore played for Purdue (2018‑2020) and was a second‑round pick by the Arizona Cardinals in 2021. He spent three seasons with the Cardinals and had injury‑shortened stints with the Falcons and Vikings. The Vikings, NFLPA and his family have issued statements of condolence.
