Royals Outslug Twins 13-9 With India's Grand Slam

Jonathan India hit a grand slam and drove in five runs, while Kyle Isbel went 4 for 4 with a homer as the Kansas City Royals outslugged the Minnesota Twins 13-9 on Wednesday night.

Noah Cameron (1-0) pitched five solid innings in his season debut for the Royals, who scored eight runs with two outs and went 7 for 16 with runners in scoring position.

The Twins scored eight runs in the final three innings, but Joe Ryan (0-1) labored through four innings, allowing five runs while throwing 77 pitches.
