Carlos Sainz, who started the final day with a 3:23 advantage, saw his lead evaporate quickly during the challenging penultimate stage in Morocco. The Spanish driver and co-driver Dani Oliveras finished the day 13th, now 5 minutes and 31 seconds behind the Toyota driver.
