Seattle Kraken Sign Meyers and Winterton to Extensions

The Seattle Kraken have signed forwards Ben Meyers and Ryan Winterton to two-year contract extensions. Meyers is currently sidelined with a lower-body injury, while Winterton has established career highs in goals and assists this season.

Meyers, 27, has split time between the Kraken and the AHL's Coachella Valley Firebirds this season, recording five goals and six assists in 31 games. General manager Jason Botterill praised Meyers' versatility and passion, noting he is an "integral part" of the team.

Winterton, 22, has played a career-high 54 games, posting personal bests of three goals and 12 assists. Botterill highlighted Winterton's speed and two-way play, securing him through the 2027-28 season.
