Sullivan progressing well, may return for Delaware game

Mississippi State baseball's Noah Sullivan is progressing well from his back injury and could return for the Delaware series finale after taking batting practice.

Coach Brian O'Connor reported that Sullivan, who has missed three straight games, took batting practice for the first time and felt really good. 'I would imagine that if there's not any lingering effects from taking a full BP today, I would imagine that he would be in there tomorrow,' O'Connor said.

Meanwhile, Reed Stallman returned to the lineup after missing the last two games, starting at first base against Delaware. The No. 6 Bulldogs defeated Delaware 9-2 in the first game of the series.
